Double thanks for that info! Could never get all that stuff straight when people were talking about it. As for the 6x9s in the trunk, thats where they mount in my car, on the underside of the rear deck lid. I also cut a hole in the middle of the deck lid to port the subs into the passenger compartme...

Well the ball joints are in the front end somewhere near the steering knuckles I think?.... I don't know all that much myself :P I'm more of a book mechanic. Anyhow I've got stereo stuff (2 12" subs & box 2 amps 3 capacitors 1 xover 2 6x9s) plus 4 jackstands (80lbs) and a 2 ton floor jack (about 175...

Check the struts, mine was doing that too but from front and back. Havn't had a chance to replace them yet, I'm too PO (too poor to afford the 'O' & 'R'). Anyhow I put some weight in the trunk and it went away, but the ride is bouncy as hell. Also probably check ball joints and u joints. Good luck w...

Well to explain why the GTO sales suck, it's because the new GTO SUCKS! Its a bit larger grand am with a v8.... whoopdeedoo. The failure of those redesigners was in assuming that it was ONLY performance that made the GTO what it was. Performace was only half the equation when you add in the unique s...

At one time I had two 12" PPI's & 2 12" JLW6's in the trunk, had a port cut in the rear deck shelf under the third tail light and dynamatted the entire trunk, having it ported made it much louder instead of just getting the physical sensation. I blew the trunk gasket too and after about a year neede...

don't they run like $900 from a dealer? I got my replacement off eBay but it's pretty decent, not warped or rusted just has some cracking. There's a urethane/chrome plating place up the street I might take a walk and talk to about getting it fixed. I asked the dealer some years ago about the steerin...

I've always considered using fiberglass to mould a whole new armrest from top to bottom with a more sculpted style rather than the blocky old ones. Wishful thinking, especially for a guy who has never touched fiberglass!

A little addition to the '67 z-28 story, all the emblems on the car read CHEVROLET real big and camaro real small because they weren't sure the name would fly.

Always thought that was bit odd.

I'd be interested in the drivers seat if it's black velour with the track. Also the lower armrests, possibly the seat belts and just about any door trim that's not broken.

Part it out. If the interior is nice you could do okay but otherwise I wouldn't give $500 for it unless it had an L67 in it.
