the damange to the passenger side was a steel gate that fell on it, hit along the hood first and dragged down the rest of the car, took out the mirror too. I did the body work on it to pull the dents and primered it up all ugly like. The keyhole was from a dumb theif who didn't realize the car was u...

89 Maroon T for sale

Hi guys, well it's time to get rid of it. $500 for the whole thing - but local pick up only. It's got a little over 210,000 miles and is probably only good as a parts car. Passenger side has some damage that's been primered, no passenger side door lock (the whole side looks ugly). Airdam has damaged...

I'd like to know also. My sensor has never worked that i know of, though the pump did go out a few years ago and I had to replace it. I don't think the sensor is in the pump, but I can't think of anywhere else it would be.

Is pulling the intake manifold very difficult? I know nothing is as easy as the repair guide makes it out to be, but granted that - how long would it take?

have you had the actual suspension looked at? Sway bars, ball joints, tie rod ends, strut mounts, that sort of thing?

It sounds like a sway bar to me and I would also go get my money back from the alignment shops.

I had a similar tire blow out in the back, except I was going downhill at 100+ mph. It is definately a scary experience, I thought I had hit an invisible deer or something. The entire tread on the drivers side rear blew completely off and I was riding on a bubble 200 miles away from home! Well I mad...

Thanks for all the info and concern, I havn't gathered my materials to do this yet, money has gotten real tight until February. I've got another problem however and I'm debating if I should just have the entire motor rebuilt. Coolant leaking from the wrong side of the engine!!! I looked and it's com...

I'm working on a budget, so for the time being I'm stockpiling parts and tools (of which I have none). I picked up a torque wrench today, 20 - 200 ft. lbs. should be okay I hope. I'll pick up a tool set this weekend with a torx bit set, then next weekend will be the parts. How expensive is a new fro...

Timing Chain

Okay well I know this has been covered before and I've searched through and read all the past posts but I'm still not sure about this. I'm going to try to change the timing chain on my BLT myself; I just can't afford the $500 to have someone else do it. I'm fairly certain I can get the front cover o...

I'm in Long Beach, theres another T about a block away but I don't know who owns it. My best friend in Jr. High had a white T and I've seen a couple of others around. I've seen 1 black, and 1 silver one, and the 1 white one all the others have been red.
